Storytime: Getting to Know Our Jewish Neighbors

Storytime: Getting to Know Our Jewish Neighbors

Preschool and Early Elementary School Kids with Adults: Join us on Friday, October 10th, from 10 – 10:40 AM, for a special story time where we get to know our Jewish neighbors. Learn about Sukkot:  one of the most joyful festivals on the Jewish calendar. “Sukkot,” a Hebrew word meaning “booths” or “huts,” refers to the Jewish festival of giving thanks for the fall harvest. The holiday has also come to commemorate the 40 years of Jewish wandering in the desert after the giving of the Torah atop Mt. Sinai. Dalit from PJ Library will share stories and crafts. Please register for this Fall Celebration story time.
