Tuesday Travel Talk Linking Hands for Learning in Nicaragua

Join retired Honeoye Falls-Lima Principal Jeanine Lupisella and her daughter Elise on Tuesday, March 19, from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, in the Mendon Public Library Jacobs Family Reading Room, as they share information about their mission trips to Nicaragua. For more than a decade, Jeanine and her husband Rob have led trips to Central America to carry out the mission of Linking Hands for Learning (LHFL). As stated on their website: “Our mission is to improve access to education in impoverished areas throughout the world. We are committed to building schools, promoting literacy, and fostering community relationships that will enable children to learn, grow, and thrive. Our goal is to support communities in their efforts to provide quality education to their children by building schools that are safe, functional, and conducive to learning.” Kindly register for this program. Sponsored by the Friends of the Mendon Public Library.
