This month the Mendon Public Library will showcase the photography of Hazel Jokl. Hazel is a senior at Honeoye Falls-Lima High School. During COVID when school was temporarily shut down, Hazel began photographing things in the natural environment around her that she previously hadn’t had time to notice. She enjoys how photography enables artists to capture the mysteries of nature. All teens and tweens are invited to come celebrate the grand opening of our new Teen Corner on Thursday, July 11th at 1:00 PM. We’ll have bubble tea, games, prizes, and more! State Assemblymember Jen Lunsford will help us with a ribbon cutting at 1:30 PM. We’ll also be unveiling our brand new, Manga book section!
