Mendon Public Library will be closed on the following days in December: Tuesday, December 24th; Wednesday, December 25th; and Thursday, December 26th. On Wednesday, May 1st, Monroe County Library System introduces automatic renewals! Eligible items will renew four days before their due dates. A courtesy email will be sent that lists each renewed item with its new due date. Thanks to a collaboration from the American Heart Association, UR Medicine, and the Monroe County Library System, you can learn to save lives with CPR from the comfort of your own home or classroom. Hands-Only CPR training kits are available to borrow at Mendon Public Library, and other select Monroe County Libraries. The unit includes a rubber torso, or manikin, to guide proper hand placement as well as compression rate and depth, and instructions. The Hand-Only CPR kits are available to be checked out and returned at any public library in Monroe County, just as with other library materials.

The wi-fi provided by the Mendon Public Library is available all the time, whether the building is open or not. The signal reaches to much of the parking lot. (The wi-fi, as all library internet service, is filtered for CIPA compliance.)
