As stated in our October 7, 2025 press release: “Public libraries play a central role as both leader and educator in the community. The Mendon Public Library wants to use this power to lead by example and spark community conversations about resiliency and sustainability. As such, the library has started the process to become certified through the Sustainable Libraries Initiative (SLI).” Stay tuned for further updates on our SLI certification progress.
The Friends of the Mendon Public Library are offering their beautiful, red tote bags for sale at the library. These bags are $15/each. They are perfect for toting library books and/or gift giving. Bags are available for purchase at the library with cash, or checks made payable to the “Friends of the Mendon Public Library”, or can be paid online, and picked up at the library by showing your purchase confirmation at the circulation desk.

Thanks to the Friends of Mendon Public Library, we have a subscription to BookPage in 2025! These publications, printed monthly, will be free for our library patrons to take with them, if they wish.

Udemy users can explore thousands of continuously updated on-demand video courses that match their professional goals and personal interests.
