Summer Reading Program 2025, June 25 – August 8

  • Program registrations open Wednesday, June 11
  • On Wednesday, June 25 we have our Opening Party and start tracking reading progress and program attendance. There are weekly prizes and incentives for participation.
  • The Summer Reading Program ends on Friday, August 8 and the final prize drawings will be done by Friday, August 15

GOAL:  Read 20 minutes a day, 5 days a week, throughout the summer

 

CHILDREN (up to 12y): Pick up a Journal to log reading progress and program participation

    • Each week show library staff their progress to get a different craft supply
    • At the end of the program, Kids who completed their journal will receive local gift cards
    • A final raffle will be held with entries earned by Kids who submitted their complete journals, and an additional raffle entry for each program they attended.

TEENS: Submit a teen book review for each book read to earn an entry in the drawing for one of four $25 Visa cards

ADULTS: Submit an adult book review for each book read to earn an entry in the drawing for a $50 HFMP Gift Card
