The Mendon Public Library is excited to share the works of Krista Flynn through the month of January. Krista is a nature and portrait photographer residing in Honeoye Falls. Krista is inspired by the changing seasons, small, overlooked details, finding magic in the ordinary, light, and meaningful connection. Krista loves finding creative uses of light as well as intentional camera movement.
As a nature photographer, Krista loves both small details and larger landscapes. One of her favorite places to photograph is the Adirondack mountains, a place that her late father adored. Krista loves to remember him through attempting to display the beauty of the place he loved so much. When she is photographing her human subjects, Krista is most inspired by authentic joyful moments that tell a story and loving connections between family members.
