Aisha Howard of Monroe County Addiction Services Department shares information on addiction, the effects of opioids on the body, how to identify an overdose and how to administer the overdose reversal medication, naloxone. Stop by during this tabling event on Tuesday, April 28, from 4 – 6:45 PM, at the library to learn more. Take home a naloxone kit and Xylazine testing strips (supplies pending). This is a free program, open to teens and adults.
