Kids, Teens and Adults: Join Sam Warren from Food Forest Fungi, on Wednesday, April 1st from 1PM – 2PM for a mushroom identification walk while exploring the beautiful woods of Mendon Ponds Park.
Sam Warren, mycologist and educator, has been a forager his whole life. He is a NY State guide and is also certified in wild mushroom safety. On this walk you will learn:
- Basic mushroom anatomy,
- Identification techniques, and
- Various species
Come explore!
The class is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
