Those interested in history, specifically the American Revolution and its connection to the Erie Canal, will not want to miss this special program at the library on Wednesday, August 5th, from 6:30 – 7:30 PM, with Derrick Pratt, Director of Education & Public Programs at the Erie Canal Museum.
While the Erie Canal opened 50 years after the beginning of the American Revolution, this talk examines how the Revolution shaped the people, places, and ideas that ultimately created this enormously influential public work. This program is free and open to all.
