Summer Reading Crafts: Something Different Every Week

Jun 17, 2021 | Recent News, Child Programs, Teen Programs, Events, Family Programs, Adult Programs

This summer, the Mendon Public Library will be offering crafts kits as part of our Summer Reading Program. Each Monday, we’ll be sharing 100 Kid Grab and Go Story Kits, 40 Teen Grab and Go Story Kits, and 10 Adult Grab and Go Story Kits (including a book, craft, and snack).  Sign out the “Kit” and enjoy it all.  Kindly return the bag and book when you’re finished.

Directions for the crafts will be included, but, we’re also offering a few videos for the more difficult crafts.  They’re attached here:

Week Five Kid Craft – Origrami Fox

Week Six Kid Craft – Woven Fish

Friends Member, Judy Plum assisted us with developing the majority of our summer craft offerings.  She’s offered to be on hand to assit with crafts at the library.  Folks of all ages are encouraged to stop in for some help during her “in-library help sessions.”  Her in-library help sessions includes:
