“On April 21st, 1945, Tuskegee Airman Leland “Sticky” Pennington took off on a flight in his P-51 Mustang ‘Lucy Gal.’ World War II was drawing near a close, but his services as a bomber escort pilot were still sorely needed. En route to the mission, the Rochester, NY pilot went missing in action, and he has never been found. His story, however, is still flying.”
Join us on Saturday, February 8, from 1 PM to 2 PM, to learn from Austin Hancock, the inspiring story of the brave Tuskegee Airman Leland “Sticky” Pennington and aviation history.
All ages welcome.
