Elementary School Kids: Tuesday, July 28, 1 – 2 PM, we will have a professor from University of Rochester’s Paleoceanography Lab here at the library to talk to us about how scientists are using fossils and marine sediments to investigate changes in ocean circulation, ocean chemistry, and climate during the last 66 million years of Earth’s history (Cenozoic). Learn how their work is done and what they hope to accomplish. We will have some hands-on manipulatives to help us understand this important work. Please register for your spot.
