Interested in cultivating mushrooms? Mycologist Sam Warren would love to help you start. Join us at the Mendon Public Library on Wednesday, February 25th, 6:30 – 7:30 PM for a class covering the basics of mushroom cultivation using a hands-on approach to culturing techniques. Attendees at this class will leave with a knowledge of how to cultivate mushrooms using low-tech methods and affordable materials commonly found in the home. Everyone will also leave with their own culture of oyster mushrooms that they cloned themselves on a Petri dish. The class is free and open to the public.
