How to Get a Library Card

You can register in person for one of three different types of library cards when the Mendon Public Library is open. The choices include:

1. Monroe County Library System Card (Enjoy complete MCLS services free to anyone, children to adults, proof of a Monroe County address required.)

2. Monroe County Library System Paid Reciprocal Card (Enjoy complete MCLS services for $25 Annual Fee for anyone living outside Monroe County, proof of address required.) Apply for a new card or renew an existing card here:  https://libraryweb.org/non-resident-library-card/

3. Out of County Card (Mendon Public Library services only, free to those living outside Monroe County, proof of address required.)

The Monroe County Library System also issues E-Cards, which can be used for digital content such as e-books and downloadable audiobooks, Consumer Reports, and other online recourses available through the county system.
