The Friends of the Mendon Public Library is a 501c3 organization dedicated to enhancing our library. We are people like you who believe in and support this valuable community asset. Friends’ meetings occur monthly and are open to everyone. The Friends typically meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 6:30 PM at the library. (The Friends do not meet during the summer months.) All are welcome!
The week of October 20 – 26 is “Friends of Libraries Week.” The Mendon Public Library joins with libraries and communities across the country in recognizing the good work of this important volunteer group. In conjunction with “Friends of Libraries Week”, the MPL Friends gathered to place a commemorative brick for Nancy Holtby, their most recent Past-President. The Mendon Public Library is a better place thanks to the support of The Friends of Mendon Public Library.
