Thank You Benson Enterprises of Victor

& The Friends of Mendon Public Library

*For Everyone*

A hearty thank you goes out to the folks at Benson Enterprises in Victor for creating such a lovely entrance to the library recently. The Friends of the Mendon Public Library organized and funded the beautification project, which included the proper setting of the monogrammed bricks and the addition of colorful plantings. Stop by to see the completed project. Before and after pictures are also posted on our Facebook page.

Blast Off to Adventure 2019 Fundraising Campaign!

There is still time to support the Mendon Public Library through the Friends' Blast Off to Adventure 2019 Annual Appeal by making an end-of-year tax deductible contribution to the Friends of the Mendon Public Library.

There are three easy ways to donate: The first is by credit card. Just click the large red "Donate" button on the right column of this page and follow the prompts.

The second way is on Tuesday, Dec. 3, as part of the Rochester area's Roc the Day campaign. Log onto http://roctheday.org/mendonpubliclibrary on December 3 and follow the prompts.

The final avenue is by writing a check to the Friends of Mendon Library and either bringing it to the library the next time you visit or mailing it to the Friends at the following address:
Friends of Mendon Public Library
22 North Main Street
P.O. Box 425
Honeoye Falls, NY 14472

Your gift to the Friends of the Mendon Public Library, a 501c3 organization, allows the Friends to bolster the library's offerings and support improvements that the annual budget just doesn't allow. In the past, your support allowed us to update outdated shelving and offer additional programs. This year, the Friends plan to update the remainder of the outdated shelving units and bring new seating to our technology and children's areas.

Sincerely,
The Friends of the Mendon Public Library

Pardon Our Mess

Please pardon our mess while we finish upgrading our shelving throughout the library. Several items have been temporarily relocated to various parts of the library, so if you can't locate something, be sure to ask a clerk for assistance. Thank you for your patience as we work to make the library a better space for everyone. We hope to have everything back in order by January 1, 2020.

Don't live in Monroe County?

Don't have a library card?

That's okay!

You don't have to be a Monroe County resident or have a library card to use our free high-speed WiFi, utilize the copier, print things, reserve a study room, or just hang out at the library to read or work. ANYONE can use the Mendon Public Library! If you live outside of Monroe County but still want to get a library card, we offer a courtesy out-of-county library card that enables you to use any of Mendon's services and check out any of our materials. We also offer Monroe County cards at $25 a year that give you full access to all Monroe libraries, Overdrive (where you can check out e-materials), and the ability to place inter-library loans!

Free High-Speed WiFi

High-speed wireless internet access is available to patrons who bring in their laptops or mobile devices. Our WiFi speed consistently clocks in at 10+ Mbps for downloads and 10+ Mbps for uploads, making it a breeze to work, study, stream content, and download files at the library. Combine this with our wireless printing, and you are set to go!

Got talent you would

be willing to share?

We're looking for artists and craftspeople who would like to teach others by offering a program at our library.

We'd love to hear from you!
