Local amateur astronomers will be presenting special star gazing events in Honeoye Falls at Monroe Street Village Park this summer. The Friday event, September 13th from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM, is hosted by MPL and is open to residents of all ages, especially the young and the curious. There will be several different types of telescopes setup to demonstrate each of their unique viewing specialties. The event will feature live views of the moon, planets, galaxies, star clusters, star-forming nebulae and interstellar remnants of super novae! Attendees are encouraged to bring their own telescope if they have one (dust it off if it’s in storage). No telescope is too small – each has its own special purpose and experienced armatures will be present and eager to assist with their use.
Please register, esp. to get event updates
