There is nothing more empowering than getting your own library card. It gives you access to technology, resources, and services to pursue your passions and dreams.

You can register in person for one of three different types of library cards when the Mendon Public Library is open.  The choices include: Monroe County Library System Card (Complete MCLS services free to anyone, babies to adults, proof of a  Monroe County address required);  Monroe County Library System Paid Reciprocal Card (Complete MCLS services for $25 Annual Fee for anyone living outside Monroe County, proof of address required); and Out of County Card (Mendon Public Library services only, free to those living outside Monroe County, proof of address required).  A comprehensive list of Library Card Privileges can be found here.

The Monroe County Library System also issues E-Cards, which can be used for digital content such as e-books and downloadable audiobooks, Consumer Reports, and other online recourses available through the system.  Apply for an E-Card here: https://libraryweb.org/using_the_library/e-card-registration/
