COVID-19 Update: MPL Physical Spaces

Nov 17, 2020 | Recent News, Library Services, Physical Spaces

The Mendon Public Library has long enjoyed being the heart of our Town.  During the current COVID health emergency, we’ve adjusted our physical spaces and gathering protocols.  Chairs and tables have been disbursed to keep everyone at a distance.  We are constantly disinfecting/sanitizing high use areas.  Only one family at a time is allowed in the Children’s Area.  Computer access has also been limited.  Patrons and staff are encouraged to self-evaluate and sanitize prior to entering the building.  Limited capacity is also being enforced.

To keep everyone healthy and safe, patrons and staff at the Mendon Public Library must wear cloth or fabric masks over the nose and mouth while within the facility.  Additionally, everyone needs to maintain Social Distancing by keeping at least 6 feet away from other patrons and staff who do not share a household with you.
