TV Conferencing System
The Mendon Public Library has a new integrated system consisting of a Samsung 55-inch LED monitor, a 3D Blu-ray player, a sound system, and a wireless-capable computer. This system can be used for playing movies, making presentations with or without your own laptop, and accessing the internet for webinars or video conferencing. It also has Chromecast capability and can be used with your tablet or the MPL's tablet. Should you be interested in using this equipment, please take a moment to look over our video conferencing policy. Please feel free to come in and check out this new addition to our library to see how you can make use of it!
Need to give your phone or tablet some more juice? We offer a range of different adapters to be used with our in-library USB charging port.
If you need a computer that packs a bit more punch, ask about our laptop for patrons that can be used right here in the library. Should you be interested in using this laptop, please take a moment to look over our laptop policy.
Free High-Speed WiFi
High-speed wireless internet access is available to patrons who bring in their laptops or mobile devices. Our wifi speed consistently clocks in at 10+ Mbps for downloads and 10+ Mbps for uploads, making it a breeze to work, study, stream content, and download files at the library.
Thanks to a generous grant from the Max and Marian Farash Charitable Foundation, the library has added the ability to print from your mobile devices to our HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M476. The HP printer is capable of black and white and color print-outs, priced at 20 cents per page and $1.00 per page, respectively.
For the benefit of our patrons, we have a networked Xerox Work Center 7120 copier/printer which makes standard and legal size copies and prints in black and white or color. It can also enlarge and reduce images, and scan documents to a jumpdrive. Black and white prints or copies are 20 cents per page; color prints or copies are $1.00 per page. The library observes all laws and regulations pertaining to copyright. Patrons using our equipment are responsible for any infringements of copyright laws.
